Abstract
Regulations to implement provisions of the Plant Disease and Control Act. Regulations 1 to 4 and 6 prescribe offences in relation to activities that may cause the spreading of plant pests and diseases by occupiers of land, growers or transporters of plants. Regulation 5 lists approved and prescribed means and methods of treating and disinfecting plants. Regulation 6 empowers the Minister to declare an area at or adjoining a port or airport to be an area where a species of plant specified in the notice must not be planted, grown. (6 regulations)
