An Act Creating a Bureau on Cultural Heritage, Appropriating Funds Thereof and for Other Purposes.

The Act creates a Bureau on Cultural Heritage in the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) to preserve, promote, and protect the region’s cultural heritage. The Bureau’s functions include collecting and restoring historical landmarks, coordinating cultural programs, and establishing a museum, archive, and library. It will also engage in educational and promotional efforts to highlight the region’s indigenous culture. The Bureau will be headed by a Director and two Assistant Directors, with offices in key provinces. An initial budget is allocated for its operations.
