Administrative Order No. 04 Series of 2020 on Creation of the Interim Department of Agriculture Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Service (DADRRMS).

This Order is enacted since Philippines is at the high risk of natural disasters, socio-economics issues and environmental degradation and global climate change. The policy of the government lays down actions for an effective disaster risk reduction (DRR) in agriculture and fisheries to (1) reduce existing risks (2) to avoid new risks and (3) to address the vulnerability of farmers and fisherfolk. The Order provides for creation of the interim disaster reduction and management service that will operate for disaster prevention and mitigation through different divisions being in charge of planning and coordination, climate information, rehabilitation and recovery support division. The Order further provides for creation of DA regional field office-disaster risk reduction and management and bureaus, agencies and corporations. The Order consists of 6 Articles.
