Abstract
This Administrative Order is enacted in light of Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) of the United Nations by considering the global warming, rise in temperature and producing greenhouse gasses. The Order refers to the threats of climate change in the lives and welfare of people and environment by attention to the location of Philippines in the typhoon belt and its vulnerability to natural disaster. The Order notifies on creation of a Presidential Task Force on Climate Change (PTFCC) to act and resolve with urgency in addressing the issue of climate change, mitigate its impact and adapt to its effects. The Order consists of 10 Sections as follow: Creation of the Presidential Task Force (1) Composition (2); Mandate and Functions (3); Secretariat and Technical Support (4); Agency Assistance (5); Budgetary Support (6); Reporting (7); Separability (8); Repeal (9); Effectivity (10).
