Abstract
This Order is promulgated pursuant to Presidential Decree No. 705 and the policy's government on regulating all natural resources to ensure sustainable supply of wood and equitable sharing of the benefits derived from the forest for the welfare of the present and future generations. This Order shall cover planation establishment, certification, harvesting and transport of planted trees and tree derivatives in forest lands with existing tenure or management arrangement and in registered private tree plantation. The Order provides for harvesting and transportation guidelines for the trees in forest lands and in private lands. The Order further provides for liberalising the setting up of wood processing plants for private landowners with registered tree plantations and holders of tenure agreements and development of a training program for tree plantation certification. This Order consists of 14 Articles and has 3 Annexes.

This Order shall take effect fifteen days after its publication in a newspaper of general circulation and upon submission to the Office of the National Administrative Register (ONAR) from the UP Law Center.
