DENR Administrative Order No. 26 of 2016 (Guidelines for the Implementation Coastal and Marine Ecosystems Management Programe (CMEMP))

The Administrative Order establishes the coastal and marine ecosystems management program (CMEMP) and guidelines for its implementation. The CMEMP is a national program which aims to comprehensively manage, address and effectively reduce the drivers and threats of degradation of the coastal and marine ecosystems in order to achieve and promote sustainability of ecosystem services, food security and climate change resiliency. The Order provides, among others, for the components of the CMEMP, the management and supervision of the CMEMP, and the reporting requirements.
