Abstract
The Administrative Order establishes guidelines for the implementation of Republic Act No. 9772 "An Act imposing a logging ban in the province of Southern Leyte", as a response to various environmental crises such as landslides and floods. The guidelines mention the state, scope and coverage of the rules; the activities exempted from the logging ban; the requirements related to the disposition of trees cut, the replacement for trees cut or removed; and the monitoring and reporting requirements.

This Order shall take effect fifteen days after its publication in two (2) newspapers of general circulation and upon submission of three (3) certified copies thereof to the Office of the National Administrative Registrar of the UP Law Center.
