Abstract
This Order is enacted as a result of increase of unauthorised tree cutting and requirement for control of processing into lumber and lumber products. The Order provides for requirements governing the issuance of new sawmill permits and certificates of registration as lumber dealers, including their renewal. The renewal of expired sawmill and certificates of registration as lumber dealer shall be subject to compliance with the requirements of this Order. For a new sawmill permit or renewal of a certificate submission of log supply contracts from the named timber sources is required. The Order provides for the minimum validity and volume of a local supply contract. The Order further provides conditions for acceptance and processing of mini-sawmill, and the conditions under which issuance of the new certificate are banned. This Order consists of 10 Sections.
