Abstract
This Order amends sections 10, 11 and 12 of MAO 50 Series of 1986 to rationalise the wood industry and to promote its growth. The amendments cover definition of Wood Processing Plant, application requirements, tenure and combining the authority to establish and the permit to operate into a single Permit to establish and Operate Wood Plant. The amendment provides that the Permit to Establish and Operate Wood Processing Plant, including renewal to operate, shall be approved by the Regional Executive Director.
