Abstract
This Order is enacted in support to the establishment of small-scale wood processing and furniture industries and to promote efficiency, value-adding, and optimizing utilization of wood and minimizing waste. The Order amends Section 3.1 of DENR Administrative Order No. 2003 - 24 regarding definition of Chainsaw which refers to any portable power saw or similar cutting implement rendered operative by an electric or internal combustion engine or similar means that may be used/or, but is not limited to, the felling of trees or the cutting of timber. This Order consists of 3 Sections.

Entry into force notes
This Order shall take effect fifteen (15) days after publication in at least two (2) newspapers of general circulation and upon submission of three (3) copies thereof to the Office of the National Administrative Registrar (ONAR) from the UP Law Center.
