Abstract
This Order lays out the objectives for establishing procedures for the development and standards for recognition of biodiversity friendly enterprises, providing the enabling environment to encourage upland and coastal communities, establishing biodiversity-friendly standards to encourage consumers to make responsible purchases and heightening awareness and participation of communities within and around protected areas and conservation areas. This Order refers to categories of biodiversity friendly-enterprises including sustainable agriculture, fisheries, forestry, manufacturing, processing and distribution. The text further provides on financial assistance and support to the enterprises recognised as biodiversity-friendly enterprise. The Order further provides for the DENR regional office management, roles and responsibility. This Order consists of 21 Articles attached with 10 Annexes.
