DENR Administrative Order No.2021 - 42. Guidelines on the processing of Applications for Expansion of Areas under Community Based Forest Management Agreement (CBFMA) to Cover Adjacent Untenured Areas within Forestlands.

This order is drafted based on the policy of the state to protect and advance the right of the people to a balanced and healthy environment. This Order provides for the objectives of develop, utilise, and manage the enhancement of environmental conditions by granting People Organisations (PO) specific portions of forestlands and to place untenured areas adjacent to CBFMA areas into proper management regime cognisant with the programs and strategies of the Philippine Master Plan for Climate Resilient Forestry Development and to ensure continuous protection and sustainable management of developed areas and natural forest. The Order provides for the areas that are available for CBFM expansion, qualifications of CBFMA holders people organisations and application requirements, processing and approval of CBFMA area expansion. Further conditions of the Order refers to database and monitoring and evaluation and budgetary support. The Order consists of 12 Articles and III Annexes.
