Executive Order No. 338 restructuring the Department of Agriculture, providing funds therefore and for other purposes.

This Executive Order establishes that the Department of Agriculture shall be the principal government agency responsible for the promotion of agricultural and fisheries development and growth. The Department shall provide the policy framework, help direct public investments and in partnership with local government units, provide support services necessary to make agriculture and agriculture-based enterprises profitable, and to help spread the benefits of development to the poor, particularly those in rural areas.
