Abstract
The Order is enacted in light of policies of the government for protection of the environment and protection of Boracay Island, as a vital national asset and a source of national pride. The Order ensures that all agencies and local government unites execute environmental and relevant protective laws in Boracay Island. The task force will formulate, implement and oversee policies, and enforce national laws and local ordinances to ensure the rehabilitation and ecological sustainability of Boracay Island. The Order consists of 10 Sections as follow: Creation of the Boracay Inter-agency Task Force (10); Powers and Functions (2); Moratorium on the Issuance of Licenses and Permits (3); Agency Duties (4); Task Force Secretariat (5); Reportorial Requirement (6); Funding (8); Separability Clause (8); Repealing Clause (9); Effectivity (10).
