In the framework of a policy of agricultural development and food sufficiency, the national Food Authority, responsible for food supply, is transferred from the Department of Agriculture to the Office of the President to enable the NFA to pursue its mandate more effectively and expeditiously. The transfer shall be limited to policy and programme coordination and integration of administrative supervision.
