Abstract
This Administrative Order prohibits commercial fishing boats from using tuna purse seine nets with a mesh size less than three and a half inches in order to protect fishery resources in Philippine waters.
Anybody engaged in commercial fishing operations using nets that do not comply with this Order shall be given a grace period of five years within which to change or replace their nets.
