Abstract
Muro-ami or Kayakas is a Japanese fishing gear used in reef fishing which devastates marine life (sect. 1). It shall be prohibited to operate muro-ami and kayakas in catching fish and fishery/aquatic products in all Philippine waters except for scientific, educational or research purposes (sect. 2). Section 4 contains penal provisions.
