Abstract
This Order, implementing Orders (FAOs 220 s2001, 227 and 228 s2008, and FOOs 254 and 319 s2009), on certification and documentation process relative to the exportation of live fish and aquatic products shall be implemented by the relevant BFAR regulatory units to provide enough guarantee on the export of live aquatic animals. It establishes specific pre-requisites for the following matters: issuance of Health Certificate as may be required by the importing country; Responsible BFAR Central and Regional Fish Health Management and Quality Assurance Section/Unit; live food fish and crustaceans (microbiological and antibiotic residue analysis); ornamental fish and invertebrates (as required by the importing country). For the issuance of Export Commodity Clearance: Responsible BFAR Fisheries Unit, One Stop Export Documentation Center (OSEDC)/ Regional Quarantine and Inspection Service; Border Inspection and verification of outgoing commodity Responsible BFAR Fisheries Inspection and Quarantine Service (FIQS) (Health Certificate as required by the importing country), etc.
