Abstract
These implementing rules and regulations shall apply to all food establishments and facilities including those located in vessels, food containers and vehicles, and food sold in the streets. The Regulation provides for sanitary permit requirement for operating food establishment for public. No person shall be employed in any food establishment without a health certificate issued by the city/municipal health officer and no person shall use any room or place for or in connection with the preparation, storage, handling or sale of any article of food without approval of the health office. The Regulation provides for quality and protection of food that must be obtained from sources approved by the local health authority. The Regulation certifies rules for the sanitary facilities, water supply, bathroom services, sewage disposal, storage of perishable foods in refrigerator, dry storage of non-perishable foods and food serving operations, air conditioning, transportation and food deliveries. The Regulation further provides for the sanitary inspection, recording and reporting, classified vendors for drinks and penalties. The Regulation consists of 14 Sections.
