Abstract
The Water Resources Management Office (WRMO) and its network of water-related agencies will lead a nationwide water conservation program, coordinating with relevant government entities. All national government agencies, including state corporations and universities, are required to implement measures to reduce their water consumption by 10% from their January to March 2023 levels. Water service providers (WSPs), both public and private, are directed or encouraged to submit monthly supply-demand projections to the WRMO and implement conservation practices such as managing non-revenue water and pressure. The WRMO will develop strategies, monitor compliance, and report quarterly progress to the Office of the President.
