Abstract
This Act provides for the protection, preservation, conservation and promotion of the nation’s cultural heritage, its properties and histories, and the ethnicity of local communities.
The Act provides for: the establishment of the Philippine Registry of Cultural Property for the registration and conservation of cultural property; the export, transit, import and repatriation of cultural property; designation of heritage zones; powers of the commission and cultural agencies role of cultural agencies; penalties; etc.
