Abstract
This Act provides for and shall govern the following issues related to pharmaceutical products: a) Standardization and regulation of pharmacy education; b) Administration of licensure examination, registration, and licensing of pharmacists; c) Supervision, control, and regulation of the practice of pharmacy in the Philippines; d) Development and enhancement of professional competence of pharmacists through continuing professional development, research, and other related activities; and e) Integration of the pharmacy profession. This Law applies also to: pharmacist in drug preparation, including calculation, mixing, assembling, packaging, or labelling of drugs. Result of a prescription or drug order by a physician, dentist, or veterinarian; Pharmaceutical products refer to drugs, medicines, biological, pharmaceutical and bio-pharmaceutical products/specialties, veterinary products, veterinary biology and veterinary medicinal products; etc.
