Abstract
These Rules of Procedure are enacted pursuant to the authority granted to the Presidential Anti-Corruption Commission by virtue of Executive Order No. 43 dated October 4, 2017.
The Rules of Procedure enpowers the investigators to investigate all complaints against public officials appointed by the president with Salary Grade 26 or higher referred to them by the Commission. No investigation shall be interrupted or terminated by reason of the desistance, settlement, compromise, restitution, withdrawal of the charges, or failure of the complainant to prosecute the same.
The Rules of Procedure further makes provisions, inter alia, for: pleadings, notices and procedure, procedure before the commission, investigation of presidential appointees in the AFP & PNP, contempt and show cause order, MOTU propio action, fact finding investigation, preventive suspension, etc.
