Supplemental Guidelines on the Transport of Animals by Sea (Memorandum Circular No. 04 Series of 2023).

This Ordinance provides for supplemental guidelines on transport of animals by sea in light of the Rules and Regulations on the Transport of Live Animals by Sea (Order No. 2 Series of 2002). The guidelines provides for consideration of appropriate container for the species, appropriate containers for pet animals, ventilation facility in the form of holes or welded wire mesh insert on all sides of container, enough space for animals to stand and to sit, and special consideration on the size, number and weight of animals for transport.
