Azad Jammu and Kashmir Acquisitions and Transfers of Property (Special Provisions) (Amendment) Ordinance, 1969 (Ordinance V of 1969).

This Ordinance amends section 8 (3) of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Acquisitions and Transfers of Property (Special Provisions) Ordinance, 1969 (Ordinance IV of 1969). The following shall be substituted for sub-section (3) of section 8 of: "(3) The appointing authority, if it is satisfied that a person referred to in sub-section (2) has not surrendered the properties and assets as required by section 15 or the value of properties and assets transferred by him, as required by section 17, shall award to him the punishment of confiscation of the whole or part of the property and may also award to him any one or more of the following punishments, namely: (i) Dismissal from public service; (ii) Removal from public service; (iii) Compulsory retirement; (iv) Reduction in rank; (v) Stoppage of increments; (vi) Censure".
