Electricity Act, 1910.

This Act provides rules for the generation, transmission, distribution and supply of electricity. The Act consists of 4 Parts divided into 58 sections, and of 1 Schedule.
No person shall supply energy, unless he or she holds a licence issued by the Provincial Government (sect. 3). The Provincial Government may revoke a licence in any of the cases listed in section 4. Sections 12-27 make provisions on electrical works and on the supply of electricity. Part III deals with the supply, transmission and use of energy by non-licensees. Any person generating, transmitting, supplying or using energy shall take precautions in constructing, laying down and placing electric supply lines and other works (Part IV). The Provincial Government shall establish an Advisory Board and a Federal Electricity Board, which may make rules to regulate the generation, transmission, supply and use of energy (sects. 35-38). Sections 39-50 contain criminal offences and procedures. Supplementary provisions are given in sections 51-58.
