Indus River System Authority Act, 1992 (Act No. XXII of 1992).

This Act provides for the establishment of the Indus River System Authority and defines its composition.
Powers and duties of the Authority include: to lay down the basis for the regulation and distribution of surface waters amongst the Provinces according to the policies spelled out in the Water Accord; review and specify river and reservoir operation patterns; and coordinate and regulate the activities of the Water and Power Development Authority.
The Act further provides for: the Advisory Committee of the Authority; yearly reports and statement of the Authority; establishment of an Authority Fund; etc.
