Abstract
This Ordinance provides for the establishment of the Karachi Fisheries Harbour Authority, for its composition and its management.
The Authority shall be responsible for fisheries harbour planning, construction, operation, management and maintenance. It shall also, among other things, prescribe procedures and conditions for registration of fishermen, fish dealers and transporters.
The Government shall, by notification, define the limits of Karachi Fisheries Harbour.
The Ordinance further provides for: establishment of the Karachi Harbour Authority Fund; accounts of the Authority; offences and penalties; etc.
