Larkana Water and Sewerage Corporation Act, 2023 (Sindh Act No. L of 2023).

The Act establishes the Larkana Water and Sewerage Corporation to manage water and sewerage services within the Larkana Municipal limits. The Corporation has the power to plan and execute projects for efficient and sustainable delivery of water and sewerage services, appoint key officers, manage funds, and perform other functions as prescribed by the Board or Government. The corporation is responsible for planning, execution, and maintenance of water schemes in accordance with the law and ensuring equitable access to safe water for consumption. It can facilitate service delivery through partnerships, supply bulk water, determine water allocation, and maintain control over water resources. Additionally, it must ensure infrastructure development, effective employment of resources, and compliance with environmental standards to prevent pollution and ensure safe delivery of services.The text further provides for water services in low-income areas, Public Privtae Partnership nods, and licenses. The Act consists of 49 Articles divided into XIII Chapters and has 2 Schedules.
