Abstract
The Agreement between PARC, the agricultural research coordinating body of Pakistan and CIMMYT, an international centre dedicated to assisting Governments to strengthen their cereal programs, sets out the general principles of collaboration for purposes consolidating cooperation between the Parties in the field of research into improvement of wheat and maize cultivation. The Parties shall exchange scientists for purposes of training and research, exchange germplasm and breeding materials, exchange literature and other information, and allow import and export of items necessary for collaborative research programs. Benefits of arising form the cooperative effort may be used by either Parties, with recognition of each Party’s contributions. This Memorandum may from time to time be supplemented by workplans.
Entry into force notes
This Agreement shall enter into force on the date of signature, shall remain in force for 1 year (extendable).
