Pakistan Sovereign Wealth Fund Act 2023.

The aim of this Act is to establish a sovereign wealth fund with the purpose of fostering sustainable economic development. This will be achieved through the prudent management of its funds and assets, adhering to the highest international standards, policies, and practices. The ultimate goal is to maximize their value for future generations. Article 5 of the text provides for the business that the fund contribute including investment, monetary and financial transactions in different sectors, public private partnership, commercial activities, founding corporations and participating in the process of privatisation. The Act further provides for the governance and organisational structure of the fund including supervisory board, board, and operations. The Act consists of 52 Articles and 2 Schedules on Transfer Assets and Valuation Methodologies.
