Petroleum (Amendment) Act, 2023.

This legislation introduces amendments to the Petroleum Act of 1934, comprising 18 articles that define various classes of petroleum, classify petroleum and heavy oils as either dangerous or non-dangerous, and substitute the Federal Government for the Secretary of the relevant Division. The Act also enumerates testing officers and imposes fines for the illegal importation, transportation, storage, sale, and refining of any petroleum.
