Abstract
Amendment is made on the Section 5, Act II of 1947.
In the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1947 (No. ll of 1947), in section 5, in sub-:section (2), for the words "punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to seven years or with fine or with both", the words "punished with imprisonment for life, or with imprisonment of either description which shall not be less than fourteen years and with fine" shall be substituted.
