Punjab Ehsaas Programme Act 2022 is a legislative framework designed to establish a new social protection and poverty alleviation program in Punjab. The Act outlines the objectives, governance structure, and operational procedures of the Ehsaas Programme to optimize its effectiveness and efficiency in promoting social and economic well-being.The objective of the Programme is to develop new initiatives and reform existing programs to enhance poverty alleviation and social protection efforts. The Act also establishes the Ehsaas Council, responsible for overseeing the implementation of the Programme. The Council consists of various government officials, representatives from civil society, and the CEO of the Programme. The Act consists of 24 Articles.
