Abstract
These Rules are enacted in accordance with the Punjab Environment Protection Act, 1997 (XXXIV of 1997).
According to the Act, the Government shall, by notification in the official Gazette, establish a Council to be known as the Punjab Environmental Protection Council. These Rules set up the procedures of the Council for the meetings, invitation of experts, etc.
