Abstract
These Rules are enacted in accordance with the Punjab Environmental Protection Act, 1997.
All environmental assessments shall be prepared by registered consultants only (Section 3). A Consultant Registration Advisory Committee shall be established. The Regulations further provide for: registration of consultants by Director General, performance evaluation of the consultahts, etc.
