Abstract
This Act aims to amend certain laws of the Punjab (specified in the text) for the purpose of ensuring fair representation of women in decision-making bodies and their empowerment. The laws specified in the second column of the Schedule appended to this Act are amended to the extent and in the manner mentioned in the third column of the Schedule.
