Abstract
The Government shall have the power to control the keeping, storage, movement, transport, supply, distribution, disposal, etc. of foodstuff. The Government may delegate its powers to officers or any subordinate authority. The Act further deals with penal provisions, offences, constitution and powers of Tribunals, etc.

An Act to provide for the continuance of powers to control the supply and distribution of, and trade and commerce in, foodstuffs.
Entry into force notes
This Act enters into force immediately.
Notes
The following Acts shall be repealed: Bahawalpur Foodgrains Control Act, 1947; Bahawalpur Control of Essential Supplies Commodities Act, 1948; West Pakistan Foodstuffs (Control) Ordinance, 1957.
