Punjab Government Rules of Business 2011.

These Rules set out provisions for public administration of Punjab Government.
Business mentioned in the Rules means the work done by the Government. The Secretariat shall comprise the Departments shown in Schedule I. The business of government shall be distributed among the Departments in the manner indicated in Schedule II. The Rules set out the organization of Departments and duties of Departments of government and provides for coordination and consultation between Departments. The duties of the Agriculture Department indludes, among others, water management operations, planning, research and coordination. The Rules furthermore set out reference to the governor or the chief minister, departmental procedure, services, the making of legislation, cabinet procedure, assembly business, etc.
