Abstract
This Act consists of 3 Chapters divided into 26 sections, and of 1 Schedule.
The Government of Punjab shall establish the Punjab Livestock, Dairy and Poultry Development Board as provided for in Chapter II. Powers, duties and functions of the Board shall be to establish, manage and run any of the projects mentioned in the Schedule (sect. 13). There shall be a Punjab Livestock, Dairy and Poultry Development Board Fund, and a Project Fund as provided for in sections 15 and 16. The Government, by notification in the Official Gazette, may declare that the Board shall cease to exist (sect. 22). The Government may make rules for carrying out the purposes of this Act (sect. 24).
