Abstract
In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 24 of the Punjab Poultry Production Act 2016 (XLVII of 2016), these Rules specify that no person shall operate poultry premises without a valid certificate of registration issued by the Registration Authority. A person desirous to establish any premises for poultry production shall: a) submit an application to the Registration Committee on the forms given in Schedules I to III; submit all relevant details reflecting qualitative and quantitative impacts of the premises; pay non-refundable fee as may, from time to time, be prescribed by the Government in the form of a bank draft in the name of the Registration Authority, etc. The Government through notification shall prescribe: (a) the registration fee payable by the applicant in any month of a calendar year; and (b) the fee for the renewal of the registration that shall be paid by the applicant on or before the 31 January of every year.
