Resolution on the establishment of the Pakistan Horticulture Development and Export Board.

This Resolution provides for the establishment of the Pakistan Horticulture Development and Export Board. Functions and powers of the Board shall include: formulation of a National Horticulture Policy; development of horticulture export marketing strategies; promotion of technological upgrading and human resource development; design and implementation of quality standards for exports; improvement of research, production and marketing in the field of horticulture. The Board shall also be competent to make rules relating to grading, quarantine and SPS standards for horticulture exports. The Board shall be subject to the superintendence and control of the Federal Government.
