Abstract
This Act amends several sections of the Seed Act, 1976 (No. XXIX of 1976) by renumbering and giving new meanings to the new clauses inserted, namely related to: "seed processing"; "terminator technology"; "labelled seed"; "variety evaluation committee"; "registration or enlisting of plant variety or hybrid"; "seed business"; "establishment of seed testing laboratories"; "registration of genetically modified plant varieties"; "Federal Seed Committee"; etc.
