Abstract
The Sindh Epidemic Diseases (Amendment) Act, 2020 amends the Sindh Epidemic Diseases Act, 2014, with immediate effect. The amendment introduces changes to Section 3, Sub-section (3), adding "Assistant Commissioner" after "Deputy Commissioner" as an authorized officer, and modifies the penalty provision, prescribing fines up to one million rupees or attachment of property for contravening or disobeying the regulations. The amendment also repeals the Sindh Epidemic Diseases (Amendment) Ordinance, 2020.
