Abstract
This Act provides for restrictions on the sale, distribution and use of fertilizers and for the labelling of packages.
The Government shall appoint a committee called the Fertilizer Control Committee, set up a Fertilizer Testing Laboratory, and appoint Government Analysts and Inspectors. Inspectors shall take samples of fertilizers or fertilizer material and send them to the Government Analyst who shall prepare a report of the results of the test or analysis.
The Act further provides for: offences and penalties; powers of Inspectors; trial of offences by the Court; etc.
