Abstract
These Rules are formulated in accordance with the Sindh Environmental Protection Act, 2014.
Substances listed in Schedule-I are prescribed as hazardous substances. An application for grant of licence filed under the Rule 4 shall be accompanied by an environmental impact assessment of the project or industrial activity involving generation, collection, consignment, transport, treatment, disposal, storage, handling or import or a hazardous substance in respect of which the licence is sought. The Rules further make provisions for: application and issue of licence, safety plan, waste management paln, packing and labeling, etc.
