Sindh Regulation of Electric Power Services Act, 2023.

The Regulation provides for the rules on supply and distribution of electricity within the Province of Sindh to ensure the development of the renewable and indigenous resources at the cost-effective and conditions for the benefit of the consumers. The text outlines establishment of the authority for performance of the objectives of this Regulation; and draft of the policies and plans in electric power section. The text further provides for grant of licenses for electric power services; investment and tariff; electricity market; and investigation and enforcement. The text consists of 44 Articles divided into VIII Chapters.
