Abstract
The Act defines the territorial waters (sect. 2), the contiguous zone (sect. 4), the continental shelf (sect. 5), the Exclusive Economic Zone (sect. 6) and provides for the specification of limits of historic waters by the Government (sect. 7). Section 8 prescribes rules for the delimitation of maritime boundaries between Pakistan and states having coasts opposite or adjacent to those of Pakistan. Other provisions deal with offences, regulation making powers of the Federal Government and the use of territorial waters by foreign ships. (14 sections)
