Water Apportionment Accord (WAA).

This Agreement between the Provinces of Pakistan sets out the apportionment of water resources of the Indus River System and the principles governing water apportionment and use of water resources by each Province. It is also agreed to establish an Indus River System Authority for the implementation of the Agreement. The Agreement does not imply restrictions for projects undertaken by the Provinces.
