Abstract
The objective of this Act is to prevent and reduce emissions of substances that deplete the ozone layer and fluorinated greenhouse gases covered by the Kyoto Protocol. The present Act regulates: (1) duties of entities dealing with production and services related to the use of substances that deplete the ozone layer and fluorinated greenhouse gases, and trade in these substances and gases, and products, devices, systems of fire protection, fire extinguishers and air conditioning systems in certain motor vehicles; (2) duties of authorities competent in matters related to substances that deplete the ozone layer and fluorinated greenhouse gases; (3) sanctions for violating regulations concerning substances that deplete the ozone layer and on some fluorinated greenhouse gases. The text is composed of the following Sections: (1) General provisions; (2) Obligation of keeping records by operators of fire protection devices and systems; (3) Specialized unit; (4) Central register of operators of fire protection devices and systems; (5) Certification; (6) Appeal commitree; (7) Duties of entities dealing with air conditioning systems in certain motor vehicles; (8) Reporting on substances that deplete the ozone layer and fluorinated greenhouse gases; (9) Authorities competent in substances that deplete the ozone layer and fluorinated greenhouse gases; (10) Control; (11) Administrative fines and criminal provisions; (12) Changes in valid provisions; (13) Transitional and final provisions.
