Act on substances that deplete the ozone layer and on some fluorinated greenhouse gases.

The objective of this Act is to prevent and reduce emissions of substances that deplete the ozone layer and fluorinated greenhouse gases covered by the Kyoto Protocol. The present Act regulates: (1) duties of entities dealing with production and services related to the use of substances that deplete the ozone layer and fluorinated greenhouse gases, and trade in these substances and gases, and products, devices, systems of fire protection, fire extinguishers and air conditioning systems in certain motor vehicles; (2) duties of authorities competent in matters related to substances that deplete the ozone layer and fluorinated greenhouse gases; (3) sanctions for violating regulations concerning substances that deplete the ozone layer and on some fluorinated greenhouse gases.
